I was wondering if, under the new look, the flashing button to signify new posts could be changed to flash red? I do find it slightly tricky to see the grey flashing from grey to grey.

Of course it might just be my aging eyesight but it would make things easier to see.  :y

I've been thinking the same myself.  Fancy making the gif file?

No probs mate. If you just tell me what to do and what tools I'll need I'll make any file you want.

Incidentally, what shape is a gif file? Is that like a round file or a half moon type???

How about a flashing green for new posts, and a solid red for no new posts? Can you do that?

I like both the top and middle ones. Anything to make identification of the presence of new posts has got to be an improvement.

Top work.  :y

Excellent, I will try to get this implemented this week.  A vast improvement, as the current ones don't stand out much :y
