If I were Aisan I would have summat to say about being lumped in with the Africans and Middle Eastern peeps...

I don't think that any good will come from any of this bullshit that's going on at present I've been privileged to work with men/ women of all races I've heard lots of "banter "  but from my experience & purely my experience most races are capable of giving as good as they get & if in a group anybody overstepped the mark they were told in no uncertain terms , we were adults & we dealt with it sensibly , might have resorted to the odd smack & then it was over. What's going on at the moment is nothing but gratuitous violence & destruction.

As for attacking statues, they were 'people of their day' (not ours).

Churchill is a classic example, consider the alternatives he was up against, Hitler for one, head a little further east and Starlin also.

From my understanding, there is a basic issue in the US written into (ancient) law that should be addressed.................less so elsewhere

Our fundamental constitution predates the US one by nearly 600 years... The issue with the US one is that slavery was in full swing in the late 1700s. Interestingly, we're only four decades ahead as far as democrstic participation is concerned.

The one good thing that will help the US overcome this is that its whole foundation is built on immigration and opportunity for anyone prepared to try.

It's not that opportunity isn't part of our foundation, but it isn't such a primary principle.
