Thanks to everyone for the great 6 months on the forum. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch this forum grow into the community that it now is and I wish it contiuned success and growth.

As I no longer have any interest in the Omega and am not able to contribute as the forum deserves, plus the fact that I cannot agree with a general pop at the Christmas festival, I have now left the forum. You will see that I am now an ex-member and will not be returning.

I genuinely wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a safe, happy and prosperous new year.

Theolodian I totally agree with you, it does seem a little odd how a minor difference in opinion has caused this, hopefully he will be back. Have a good holiday finlay :y

I have missed whats gone on today, been busy with other things. Sorry.


However, whatever you reasons for leaving, I would like to say a huge thanks to you for your help in getting this place up and running. Setting up a new site is never easy, and one as popular as this in such a short space of time is a huge achievement.   8-)


I wish you equally great success in your new ventures, and you will always remain welcome here.

I am sure there are members on this forum for whom Christmas has a more traditional Christian background and thats great.

The fantastic thing about this great country is the diversity of it populous, Christian, Muslim, Sikh,  Jew, Hindu, Budist and whatever else in between.  Don't judge others on their preferences, thats getting into dangerous territory thats causing a lot of troubles in the world around us.  This is an all encompassing forum is it not?

For me personally, its a time off work where I'm not working 60 hours a week in some power station in the middle of nowhere, time that I can spend with my wife and our families, and yes time that I can spend eating too much, drinking too much and watching The Great Escape, The Wizzard of Ozz and loads of Carry On films.  I don't expect that to offend.
