I have mixed feelings about that. Hamilton has already sewn up this season, although I like to see him add to his tally of starts / poles / wins.
On the other hand it would have been nice to see young George get another shot this weekend, with his confidence boosted and without catastrophic pit stops etc. he suffered from last weekend.
Maybe Toto doesnt fancy the prospect of Bottas crying in the corner, and having a nervous breakdown after the race.  ::) ;D

Hamilton would have been happy to let young George have another go..........if he had been less than impressive.

Reminds me of the old work moral about being indispensable.

Bottas made a press statement yesterday saying his performance has been below par recently and needed to improve.
He also announced that the Pope is a Catholic, and bears defecate in areas where there are lots of trees.  ::)

Verstappen should win today. Hamilton is under par, might not actually last the distance. And all Mercedes engined cars have had the wick turned down due to some glitch or other, and they are at the end of their useful life.
