She had to have an operation on her foot and can only walk, on a lead, for ten minutes each day for the next two weeks. I'll be climbing the fickin walls.

Thanks, Varche. This was, believe it or not, a piece of hardened mud that had worked itself under the skin and caused a large, necrotised lump between her toes. She is very active, chasing squirrels and running around, and I've been advised to clean between her toes after every walk.
My fault then.

Sorry to hear about your dog Steve, but at least it sounds like you've got it all under control but in all honesty they are worth every penny for the pleasure they give + unconditional love, always very wary of folk who say that they don't like dogs. Hope you are back to daily normal walks soon it's certainly kept us sane over the last few months.
