« on: 10 March 2021, 18:32:09 »

As this engine is NOT in an Omega do I need the aux water pump? Also where is it plumbed in as Haynes manual is as much use as an elastic rule. Its so long that I stripped the donner car I forgot and didnt have a decent phone for pics then.

Which one? The one by the radiator or the one under the coolant tank?

It doesn't matter.

You don't need either.

Perhaps not, but they serve different purposes.

It only had the one , think it might have been by the rad as there is a mounting bracket on fan housing. Will it need a fix for ECU or will it be fine just disconnected ?

it was just fitted to dissipate heat from the engine when you switched it off .... the engine fan(s) would have run with it
