Silver medal in the weightlifting for our girl.

I'm pleased that gold, silver, and bronze will all go to women.......in the women's competition. :)

A fortnight of utter tedium.
Nice to see the UK team (wrongly named Team GB) doing well. Apart from the home team, all the teams above them are the really big nations.
Shameful to see the Russians allowed in through the back door. Makes a mockery of the principles of sport.  >:(

Far cough, pilfering scouse git.  ;D

TApparently the official name of  Team GB is Team Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Why not just name it Team UK ffs ?
Probably scared of upsetting Sinn Fein.  ::)

Agree wholeheartedly.

If I were the woman who who gave up my place in the name of wokeness, I would seriously consider suing the Kiwi Olympic Committee  :-X

No, no. They're keeping it as GB & NI so it's easier to just lose the NI when it becomes part of the EU permanently. Doubt they'll let you have EU & NI, probably just EU  :-\

Yes, yes, yes. It wouldn’t be OOF without deviating to obscure nonsense. Can’t you just enjoy being UKish for once. Little country stuffing it to most of the rest of the world. Makes up for the Eurovision  hatred!

No, no, no. I live in Yorkshire and, apparently, we're not part of the rest of the UK and, if we were a country, we'd be 12th in the medal table.

And my method of levelling out Eurovision and the olympics is to not give a shite about either of them.  ;D

No, no, no. We can live on flour and water, whisked into a batter and cooked in very hot fat. I forget what the actual dish is called.

Yorkshire pudding ?
you will need milk and egg and a pinch of salt with the flour  ;)
so you need a chicken and a cow and a sea for the salt
Once you milk the cow you could cut it up, cook and eat it

roast cow and Yorkshire Pudding ,surprised that hasn't caught on  :P
