They are invariably rich too, far more so than most of us put together will ever see. That alone makes them unsuitable to govern imo.
Rishi is stinkingly rich, his wife even more so.

Good for him! 👍

I understand he made his money in the City before entering politics?  ???

I read earlier that Angela Raynor our would be Deputy PM with obvious ambitions for the top job has become worth millions since entering politics!  ::)

I wonder how she has managed that?  And who would you rather have in office?

Neither of them. Rishi worked for Goldman Sachs. Even the people in the city hate them. That aside, he is very obviously completely out of his depth as PM. As evidenced a couple of days ago when he asked the homeless man he was serving food to (for the cameras) if he ran his own business. He lives on a different planet to us, and just says and does what the SPADS tell him to do, because it went down well with the focus groups.
Raynor on the other hand is just an old slapper who has got lucky, and is an utter waste of space, skin and fresh air.
If there is a potentially good leader in this Parliament, they are doing a very good job of staying under the radar.

I read this and a mental picture of her ginger growler forced it's way into my mind.

I'm feeling rather unwell now. :-X

I see it’s the governments intention to cancel leave for the army. Why should they suffer for this
Circus of clowns mess in charge of the country?
mp,s  have given themselves over £17,000 in pay rises since 2013 & last year they never had one,  also i bet if we were able to gain access to their expense account claims they wouldn,t be bothered about fuel costs

I believe that MP's pay is set by an independent pay review body, same way as the nurses pay is derived at. Saying that, whatever MPs are paid, none of them are worth it.
