Got stuck behind a van this morning, if I was the old bill it would have got pulled. Kerb to white line at one point (on the phone?) then only 35 in a 60 and the rear plate was so dirty it was unreadable.
Get a dash cam. Years ago I would have called someone a grass for doing that, but these idiots are potential family killers, they deserve everything they get.
.

Have a look at a cycley Mikey on YouTube, the fella has balls videoing idiots on their mobiles whilst behind the wheel fair play to him, these dangerous bastards deserve everything they get, their sheer arrogance when caught really gets my goat.
But never posts videos of him jumping read lights or riding 2 or 3 abreast down country lanes - so under newish laws a car can't overtake, and if a car dared overtake, that's more money from YouTube ;)

The amount of idiots on the A1 on the way home from Stansted airport, our cab driver was terrific a true professional but some of the driving we witnessed was simply ridiculous but no cop cars around anymore.

Let me guess, 90% was aggesivly driven German cars?

Got to do battle with many of them on the way to NEC tomorrow to set up the ABS club stand for the Classic show

Been there today but didn't bump into you, will try harder tomorrow as did speak to you last year

Vauxhall Corsa headlight bulbs have pissed me off today.  They were obviously far too easy to access as stand alone headlights so good old Vauxhall decided to fit the airbox to block the back of the offside light and a fuse box to block the nearside light. Airbox is a doddle to remove but you need midget hands for the nearside bulb. I can see why some people remove the headlights to do the job now.
The rear lights have to be removed completely to change a rear bulb but at least that is easy. What a faff for a two minute job.  ::)

My Daughter had a Ford KA a few years back & I was asked to change one of the headlight bulbs on it for her,  cut a long story short I almost resorted to calling the fire brigade to get my hand out of the front panel, absolutely ridiculous the way it had been positioned.

Same on my Vectra C. Nearside is ok, but Vauxhall recommend removing the bumper to change the offside. Luckliy, the airbox comes off the mounts ok and my hands aren't very large.

If you read the manual >:D

The manual says to turn steering wheel to full lock to access wheel arch liner, unscrew arch liner and pull back away to access bumper bolt. Repeat for other side and lower the bumper, then remove upper cover panel by bonnet catch. This is all to access one lower headlight bolt, as the others are easily accessible.  ::) Then remove headlight, unplug harness and change bulb.

My method :
Remove airbox, remove bulb cover and then work blindly, whilst shouting profanities until you sort it.  ::) ;D

My method is even more simple: I take to my local garage and instruct a gadget hands mechanic to change the bulb. He usually does it without removing anything. Tenner, including the bulb.

Best way Steve, I wouldn't attempt any bulb changes on the Range Rover & again on SWMBOS Toyota all far too technical for me now for the sake of a few quid let the garage sort it.

I should point out that this wasn’t my car, I was helping someone out who has to watch the pennies. I even paid for the bulbs. It’s the kind caring sort of person that I am.   ;D  :y

Have to admit that bulb changing on our now gone Subaru Forester was an absolute piece of cake,  unbolt light cluster remove blown bulb and replace , probably more difficult with the newer models now.
