THE BBC!! and their woke views on mostly everything including the Israeli/Palestinian war.
I was working in Israel for an American company based in Ashkelon and on duty in Ashdod.
Lovely lovely people. So friendly. Better than the other places I have been to of the other persuasion.

I remember going from Israel into the West bank. It was like leaving a modern Europen country, and in the space of a few hundred yards arriving in the third world, yet lots of men with tea towels on their heads were brandishing the latest automatic rifles.
To me its very simple. If Hamas laid down there arms there would be no more fighting.
If the Israelis laid down their arms, there would be no more Israel.

I despise the BBC with a passion. If it was abolished today, the UK would be a far better place tomorrow.

Fkin Amazon Delivery

Ordered a Multi tool from Amazon yesterday, free delivery with a time of beteen 12:00 and 13:00 today.

Just found an email saying it was left outside my front door at 11:33am

Went to my door to find someone just about to walk down my path with thier dog after eyeing up the package.

Not a single knock on the door, no knock on the window, door bell/phone is 100% working fine.  So pissed off that they left a £100 item outside without even trying to hand it to me personally.

I have lots of parcels deliverd, and any large, heavy or award items I ask to be brought in so they can be inspected for damgae as drivers are brilliant at showing the good side of a delivery and hideing the damage.

2 weeks ago I had a new monitor delivered, would have hated that to have been left outside in the rain.

Phoned customer services and listened to them repeating thier usual script to me, they say the driver will be dealt with . . . . I doubt it but there you go.

As for the Multi tool, looks good, allways nicely packed reasonble quality, shame about the micro pictures for the instructions to fit/change the attachments. Had to watch a video to suss it out.

Sorted now :y

As for the guy with the dog, there are suspicions that he allows the dog to wander into gardens so he can go after it (and have a nosey round) our gates have been opened overnight when they were closed and checked before darkness - items have been removed at times but sadly we cant peove by whom >:(

Considering it,  Just the basic door bell and handset, button allows me to unlock the door.  Have to be ready for the pesky delivery people, If you dont open the door with in 10 to 15 seconds they are allready on thier way baxk to the van. :-X

The Amazon app sends me a notification to tell me when their driver is 8 stops away. I can then track it on a map.

He should have at least attempted to knock on the door, My head is only 2 feet away from it.Out of 100/s of deliveries this was the 1st thats ever been left outside.  He deserves the bollicking .

Popped into Costco at Avonmouth for fuel this afternoon, which is just off the M5. Then being a Friday afternoon at the end of half term and an accident, it took an hour and a half to get out of Costco and past the accident site on the Avonmouth Bridge on the M5. Less than a mile.  ::)

Ordinarily, when Google Maps has painted the M5 red around Avonmouth on a Friday afternoon, I'd nip along the Portway A4 to Bristol, cross the Cumberland Basin and down the A370 to Weston Super Nightmare, but now the Labour self-abusers who run Bristol have included the end of the Portway A4, along the Hotwells Road and across the Cumberland Basin in their clean air zone, so it would have cost me £9!  >:(

The lying bastards at Google Maps said it was a 22 minute delay, not worth shelling out £9 to avoid.  :-\  Had they been honest and said it was an hour and a half I'd have disturbed the moths...  ::)

Working a 12 hour shift on my birthday isnt exactly cheering me up.  ::)
Spent 7 hours at A& E with swmbo yesterday which is depressing. She hasnt been well all week so no card or present etc. so birthday pretty much cancelled this year.
Trying to get my head around the fact Im now 64 years old is ffs !  :o
However, my mate in Norn Irn sent me a box which contained a lot of Tayto Cheese & onion crisps and a framed photo of me at the wheel of my Chevette HS in 1979.
Its like looking of a photo of a young lad I used to know a long time ago. :)

Happy Birthday! 64? A mere youngster compared to some of the old gits on here.

I read something recently along the lines of “ you dont know peoples private battles, treat them kindly”  We bumped into the garage man here that fixed our 4x4 some years ago. He has been battling prostate cancer for last three years and his wife is in a wheelchair.

Hope your better half’s health improves, you can always celebrate in a few days.
