Also talking cash business company's, Gas, roof and electrical trades etc.

They charge full whack, they dont give receipts/invoices, so therefore no guarantee or warranty cover as a result of a fault or issues.  Also they take the P**s on single women and older people by over charging them for minor repairs.

That's if they ever turn up.  :-\

Just a publicity stunt to try and convince people (especially people who switched from Labour to Reform) that they are getting tough on this kind of thing.
Almost every town in the country is now bursting with  "businesses" that are just fronts for laundering drug money for foreign drug lords.
It would take enormous political will and resources to tackle it now.
Politicians, Police, Councils etc.  have known about it and turned a blind eye for a long time. They now want us to believe they are stamping it out.  ::)

Seems to be a day for that. Had to bust open the a fuse box cover for the same reason.

Today I have mostly been peed off by the Royal Mail and their technicolour, world class levels of incompetence. Failing to deliver things then telling me they will send them back to the shop, when they haven't even made it into my town. What the bloody hell is the point?

Currently missing 6 parcels for me (!) and 3 for the woman of the household. From various sellers. Absolutely ridiculous.

I tend to have zero issues with RM, so when I send stuff, they tend to be the parcel shifter of choice.  And lets face it, only a few pence dearer on slightly heavier parcles than Herpes, with the added bonus it doesn't go on a long road trip....

I used to fight their corner because they were genuinely better than the Yodris of the world but now their service is dire. Might be a NE issue, I can't say. But yesterday the customer service telephone twit told us to go to the local delivery office for one of the oarcels. Went down today and their system doesn't ever show it being in the building at all. Ludicrous.
