One thing is for certain, we lived through the golden age of humanity. At least we can be thankful for that.

Forty years ago, we hired a car and ragged it around Southern Spain and parked easily for free at the major attractions. You couldnt do that now. There is a stretch of road well signed with speed cameras that generates over 600 tickets each way a day.

Our generation were/are the most fortunate generation that ever lived Varche. A pity we never knew that until  now, we might have tried to make things a bit easier for those who followed.

I think it willbe a new form of different. For example everyone fitted with nhs sensors that will call you in when they spot changes in your body. Sort of a fancy smart watch. Your nhs is trialling such a device for heart.

Similarly when vehicles are all driving in an orderly manner, road accidents will be a thing of the past. I dare say in fifty years time, our childrens children will be saying can you bElieve all the angst and injuries people suffered in the 2020s.

What really is disappointing is we still havent learnt to live with our fellow man. Most countries “ hate” another country. The world would be a better place if that energy waschannelled for good.

Couldn't agree more, he's been proven to be a liar where ULEZ is concerned & I'm of the opinion that the amount of cash that could be generated if it comes in will not be used to improve the lives of Londoners far from it ,it will go to  groups closer to his liking. A very dangerous & evil man.

Meanwhile in Wales..... 

All new major road building projects have been scrapped to save the planet and given that most of the existing road network in the Principality are now 20mph limits, no one is going very far or fast!

Now it's definite that the rest of the Rhondda relief road from Pontygwaith up to the Heads of the Valleys road will never be built, it can't be long until the Cardiff Commies (AKA the Welsh 'Government') impose a 10mph limit to save the planet even more. 

Which they might as well as it's about all you can do through Tylorstown, Ferndale and Maerdy anyway.

Just read that Boris is joining the fight against the ULEZ expansion as outer London has no requirement for it, he stated that it is simply a money making scheme by Khan to bolster up TFL due to Khans mismanagement of it , good on him.

Just politics though. Khan is Labour and Johnson is Tory and it's just point scoring. Unless Boris fancies another tilt at the mayors job.
