As VP her insanity may be containable, but McCain is an old man and if he dies as preident then............................................well it does not bear thinking about really.
I think that overall it would be best if Obaama wins the US elections.
We'll all know shortly. :-/ :-/

He's known to admire Al Gore and may well drag him back in an official capacity. Nooooooooooo!!  :(

So, no, it wouldn't be best.

Oh, and by the way, did you read the ABC unedited transcript? Palin didn't come over as insane to me.

do you ever read unbiased news - or take everything from right wing sabre-rattling websites?

so what does this mean? Palin's a liberal then? I think you have to look at more than one source - sorry - i fail to see the point - so a right wing "news" website cries foul on a right wing candidate? hold the front page!!!!

i wonder if FOX News ever misrepresent the facts or "edit" interviews - seems to me ABC cut out the waffle - please don't excuse her - she has enough friends in the media already :(

A somewhat unpleasant comment.

The parts were either edited out or they weren't. It doesn't matter what website this is reported on. It is either fact or fiction. Since ABC has not contested the story (which I believe they would if it were false), I assume it to be true.

If they deleted parts did exist in the original interview, they do not, in my mind, constitute "waffle". To me it is clear they were edited out to create a false impression.

As far as reading unbiased news, I bet you think The Guardian and The Independent are unbiased.  ;D

sorry Nickbat - you're right - it was a bit harsh  :-[

i'm just really nervous of where we'll end up with someone with such a right wing agenda and very limited experience in power - i think McCain made a BIG mistake in chasing the female voters and fundamentalist christian right in one swoop - he's not thought this through.

the indy and guardian aren't perfect - but i read a load of papers/websites/news outlets and all you can do is form your opinion by how much you trust one source over another based on track record and agenda (eg i do not trust FOX to give fair and balanced reporting they are a republican mouthpiece almost without exception, i would trust the BBC to be fair or at least endeavour to be fair - which is all you can ask - there is no one truth out there) :y
