was just trying to help . i read earlier that your maf reading was a bit low suggesting air or vac leak . thought of some possibilities some of which you may have already checked /eliminated

Sorry!! I read quickly and though it was another different case that was commented before in the post. I appreciate your help.

The engine is running smoothly, the only symptom is the fault light. The mechanic used a smoke machine to test for more more vac leaks and inspected all the connections and found nothing. He also told me that the MAF is in a good condition and it is not causing the problem, but I don't know if maybe he can miss something...

It doesn't matter how smooth the engine is, the light is on for a reason.

If everything checks out then you could try swapping the O2 sensors front to back and see if the trims reverse. The trims are based on the difference between them and it may be that the fault lies in the other end of the measurement.
