"Yum , Yum ....."
« on: 11 September 2025, 10:14:19 »

This is utterly perverse .
Mandelson is an absolute stain on the UK and has been for over thirty years ..
Watching his " poor me " apology last night was excruciating where he portrayed himself as a victim of Epstien's duplicity  over a period of years .
Unfortunately the stark evidence shows otherwise .
This vile ,devious ,and untrustworthy creature is the UK's Ambassador to America .
He is our official emissary sent to represent and project our credability , values and status to the most powerful country in the world .
What do these e mails and letters suggest ?
He clearly enjoyed , participated and devoured the pleasures afforded to him by Epstien and lavished praise, slavish gratitute and latterly advice on his benefactor of desires.
Twice forced to resign for deception and then selected from the (minute ) pool of candidates to be our beacon in the halls of Washington DC.
I'm aghast at the incompetance of starmer and this government in their willingness to ignore what they WOULD have been aware of re Mandelson and Epstien but still forge ahead with his appointment in this key role , it plummets to a new depth .
They must have known that his decrepit conduct would publicly surface whilst he was actually in office .
I believe it may have been politically motivated to reflect upon Trump , as a fellow associate of Epstien , coincidentally, prior to Trump's state visit which if so shows the dark side of the left's approach to " the special relationship " .
This would be a galaxy beyond starmer's political ability which makes it infinitly more concerning as to who would actually be the chief protagonist .....
I'm begining to despise all of the elected community that have represented us all for decades , they are all deeply flawed , grandiose but secretly self serving ,trough feeding charlatans with no interest in fulfilling the purpose that we elected them for .

…………
Quite how Starmer picks such people is beyond me.

According to the recent football chants, it’s because “Starmer is a c***”.  And before Starmers hurty words police come knocking at my door, I didn’t say it, over 7000 fans sang it.  :)

Mandy, Starmer, and the Ukrainian rent boys. ::)

The rent boys story is gathering pace so I'm led to believe, I certainly hope that it's all true that will be the final nail in the coffin for him.

The thing that could finish Starmer is if its proved he knew more than he let on about Mandelsons relationship with Epstein at the time he appointed him.
But who would replace him ?
Cant see anyone on the Govt benches who isnt at least as useless as him, and the Tories and Reform dont want an election yet, as neither of them are ready for it.

A nice bit of political opportunism from James Cleverly the former Foreign Secretary, but prescient nonetheless especially the last sentence.  :y

I’ve been Foreign Secretary, I’ve done senior ambassadorial appointments. Let me explain why the Mandelson situation is even worse than it first appears.

The Foreign Secretary has a huge amount of power when it comes to appointing Heads of Missions. Head of Mission is the general term for Ambassadors, High Commissioners, and Permanent Representatives to international bodies like the UN. Basically the choice of who the top diplomat is in an overseas post is down to the Foreign Secretary.

In almost all cases the choice is from a list of career diplomats, who have years (often decades) of experience, have been vetted, and tested by experience, and have previously held junior diplomatic positions around the world.

But the Foreign Secretary can choose someone else. Someone without those attributes. Clearly the Foreign Office system doesn’t like it when the FS does this and almost always advises against it. That’s not to say that choosing an outsider is wrong, just that that the FCDO will make it clear that doing so carries additional risks. And those risks sit with the Minister rather than the Department.

Obviously I wasn’t involved with any of the conversations about Peter Mandelson but I know the FCDO well and I know the personalities of the people who would have advised David Lammy about this appointment.

They would have reminded Lammy that Mandelson had resigned in disgrace twice before. They would have reminded Lammy that Mandelson had a longstanding relationship with Epstein. They would have reminded Lammy that Mandelson had widespread, complicated, and opaque commercial interests.

I have no doubt that they would have reminded Lammy that he and the PM were importing significant reputational risk if they appointed Mandelson. I have no doubt they would have unambiguously advised Lammy against appointing Mandelson to the post.

And it is now clear that Lammy and Starmer ignored that advice and appointed him anyway.

And now we have no ambassador to the USA, a new Foreign Secretary, an imminent state visit, a damaged relationship with the White House, and humiliation for British diplomacy.

But most of all we have a number of unanswered questions about what Starmer and Lammy knew, when did they know it, and why they went ahead with Mandelson’s appointment.

Did anyone see the 92 year-old victim of the Post office scandal on the box yesterday?  Amazing lady who didn't mince he words about Starmer & Rayner and really the Labour party as a whole, Starmer removed Gareth Thomas from his position as Post Office minister & he hasn't been replaced, the lady spoke very highly of him & how hard he had been working on the victims  of the scandal, but in her words " Starmer doesn't want to compensate any of us"  I have never witnessed a government like this ever a total disgrace.

So it's emerging that Starmer hasn't actually sacked Mandelson, he's been 'withdrawn' from the post of British Ambassador to the USA and is still on the payroll.  ::)

Do they really think they can put him on gardening leave for a bit until the dust has settled and then find him another job?  ???

He must have some serious kompromat on Starmer if so!  :o  >:D
