Trump has blinked first. Not unexpected.  ::)

TACO!  ;D

Although according to reports the Ayatollahs/IRGC have placed human shields in the form of women and children at power plants and other possible targets. So if that's true and thats the intelligence Trumpy has had from the CIA and the Israelis/Mossad then who could blame him.  :-X
That's what happens when you pander to the leftists and give notice...

When Iran breaks the ceasefire, that's a green light to go in and get done.
Donald is a loud mouthed shithouse, everyone except you seems to accept that.
I don't recall ever saying that he wasn't. :-*

But consider the possibility that just because you and the BBC don't like him, it doesn't mean he's not right...
I don't recall posting anything from the BBC, but that doesn't matter to people like you. Have you got any YouTubers who say that this surrender was a master stroke?  ;D

Reports have it that Saudi Arabia's East-West pipeline that carries crude oil across the country to the Red Sea was attacked by drones earlier today.  :-\

If the Iranians don't open it (properly) then Donald needs to stop backing down.  Sure half of it is Iranian territorial water, and the other half being the gulf states on the west of the sea, Oman at the actual straits.  Now Iran would have a right to control traffic in it's waters....

Has he backed down? Are.you reading the CNN statement or the actual one?

What was required to be done has been. The rest is upto the Iranian people.

The Iranians have made Trump look like exactly what he is, a really stupid, gullible idiot. Putin probably told them how he did it, and they followed suit.

This is what I don't understand. It seems that everyone is just accepting that Iran can close the entirety of the Straights, even the Omani side, and nobody, not even the other Gulf countries Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrian, UAE Kuwait, Iraq or Oman seem willing to do anything about it.   :-\

Just a thought. Maybe the solution is for the US to take land bordering the straits. Build a Middle East base there . It could safeguard the Straits, be a paradise for golf and leisure clubs, oil refineries and at the same time oversee peace in the area.

Had to smile at the Iranian ten point plan, the item regarding Iran being able to enrich nuclear material. I thought that was “obliterated” in the first campaign and again in this current war?

Given he actually never gave a goal, then that's a valid argument.

But everyone knows he's backed down, because nothing really has been achieved, only its likely that Iran will/can claim total territory over the straits.

Plus keep it's enriched uranium, plus ensuring he's going to think very carefully about doing anything like it again.

Without a clear change, the current Iranian regime, or any Islamist* regime that follows, they will simply restart their nuclear weapons agenda again.

*Islamist meaning where the politics of the regime/group is the religion, and by nature (if history has taught us anything), tends to be extremist.

His aim was very obviously to topple the regime and allow for some kind of sensible / moderate regime to replace it.
He has completely failed to achieve that.

The Strait is around 22 miles wide iirc, but much of it is too shallow for tankers to sail through.
The part thats deep enough is quite narrow, so its pretty easy for the Iranians to control it.
