They can't say anything that would admit they're wrong. So obviously they're going to lie of it makes them look/feel better ;)

What have Trump and Netinyahoo actually achieved?

Has Iran’s nuclear capability been destroyed?

Are the Straits of Hormuz open?

 Have they got rid of the the terrorist’s supported by Iran? Hizbollah, Hooties.


 
I think they have given Iran a bloody nose. Iran can play for time, The US must be haemorrhaging dollars by the day.

Yes indeed.  The last we heard, 3 days ago, on this was Trump had requested a further $200 billion from Congress.  By the end of this week it will already have cost the US $25 billion. :o :o

The cost somewhat misses the point of the exercise.

Besides it's a short term cost versus the longer term goals, not least the opportunity to force China to pay a fairer price for it's oil and if it stabilises the region, then that can only be a long term benefit.

An Iranian Government channel reposted a couple of spoof posts...

One declaring that Iran had shot down the most advanced thing in the US arsenal... Namely an Imperial Star Destroyer from Star Wars and also a scene from Independence Day showing a swarm of alien craft firing lasers at "the biggest US base in the Middle East" >:D
