Yes, there are a lot of spam attempts going on, and a massive, massive increase in traffic from a certain part of the world.

I would disable the facility for anybody to contact you by email on the forum if I were you....

For reference, that is in your forum profilie, uncheck "Allow users to email me" and save.

Blocked a number of problematic foreign IP ranges at the firewall, and some problematic single BT and Sky IPs
