HI guys

The car has hard starts to no starts and it is getting worse :(

The thing is i have a log from dec 2025 where immo active telltale off i don't know what changed..

and it has been driving until last week I performed some minor banjo bolt changes and it got worsen.

now live data shows telltale on ( i tested it in "My Naff Code Reader" it turns off)

I erased all trasnponders configed 1 key fob transponder all good it comunicates with ECU but i cannot put the immo inactive. Why? :o

I wouldn't be playing with that tool in that ECU...

It has a nasty habit of bricking things.

Genuine Tech 2 with genuine software.

Trouble is, now you've been poking around in the software, you're going to struggle to get it fixed.

Engine ECU, transponder ring and key from a single car, ideally with the Vin and Car Pass may be your only hope.

That said, you say it got worse after some engine work, which points directly to a wiring harness issue.

I just measured the pin 3 (or 7) from the immo to ecu 10 (11?) and is good 0.05 ohm

Also just tested the other key transponder that I erased and it blinks so immo is ok


The programed key does not blink, it stays fix and when I turn the key it goes off but the engine still won't start

What a conundrum.

In that case, trying to fix it, you've messed up the programming.

The original issue may have been wiring related, now you need to start fresh with the items I listed above.

And let this be a lesson when using opitycom...

If you have the genuine O P C O M purchased direct the the Hungarian manufacturer, ask them for support when programming *ANYTHING*.  If you have the Chinese cloned copies of the adapter and software, use it purely for code reading and live data, *NEVER* programming. Ever.


However, if the spanner light isn't flashing then the Engine ECU is given permission to start.  Are the symptoms that it's cranking but not firing?

It fires and almost catch ignition. The pump is working cos it stinks gas. The other day I cranked for like 5 min and I got it running but poorly with bad throttle response.

Is fantomel 1.95 with original chip a secure option?

I can’t help with the immobiliser issue but reference the poor starting I would have suggested looking for DTC P0335 or Code 19 (crank position sensor) on the X25XE but you say it stinks of fuel, and as far as I recall a faulty CPS doesn’t allow the fuel pump to operate.  :-\

I think electronics? Immo active telltale on... All the sensors are working tho

Crank sensor is ok I removed it and cleaned with contact cleaner. It shows revs and no codes.

So Spanner light flashing - immobiliser issue. You say its not that

Spanner light on - Engine ECU detected a (non emissions) fault and will have stored a code

Engine light flashing or on - emissions fault, read code

How about air mass meter? Faulty causes such symptoms.

Unplug it. It should run but the light will be on.
