I bet the Ruzzians were really scared by the RFA supply ship that was sent to shadow them through the Channel the other day because most of the RN's warships are broken.

Pensions are the biggest expenditure. Too many old people and  too few working age people to pay for them.

.....and it's only going to get worse.

The Liberal party set up pensions in 1909......offering a few crumbs for people over 70.

I think there were about a dozen people who made it to 70 back then.

Apparently these figures equate to £20 and £30 a week in todays money.
