I spent £15.90 on petrol for the mower the other day......for a paltry 2.2 gallons at £152.9 a litre.

Should be enough to last the summer, just.

That is an economical mower or a very small lawn. 10 cc of petrol?

Tractor fuel has comedown 12 cents a litre here today. Hopefully more to come now the Straits are open! What could possibly go wrong.!

You're forgetting who you are talking too. 

Our Lord has extensive grounds to mow and his mower has a V8!   

He has enough petrol for our one day of summer!

Just been to put some diesel in the wife's car, I'm keeping it full because she needs it for work. She's done 217 miles this week and it cost me £42.50. That's for a 1.5 diesel.

My mower comes with a tiny plastic carb. I'm amazed it goes through as much petrol as it does.

Judging by the size of the carb you'd think it would run for a 100 years on one gallon....but no.

I'd probably achieve better economy by dropping a 400 cubic inch V8 in it. It would also take less time.
