So he's got a Ford type 9 gearbox in it (because the BL one was cr@p) and a Ford head on it (because the BL one was cr@p) and it now goes through big ends (because the BL block is cr@p). Begs the question of why he didn't use the Zetec block (which can reliably rev to >7k in standard form) as well, then he wouldn't have had to spend time bodging the gearbox onto a B series block and he'd have a better setup entirely. ::)

In fact, assuming you arrive at a decent engine and gearbox why, why, oh why would you put it in a Marina? ;)

Also....the extra power ( supposedly 125 BHP) would highlight just how bad the Marina handled with suspension dating from the time of the black death. ::)
