I believe the 6 litre V12 is essentially a pair of 3 litre Mondeo ST220 lumps spliced together. :)

I'm tempted by a classic. Probably not one from the fifties or sixties as they would be too slow, and probably drive like a lorry.

on 'Bangers and Cash' recently a DB6 went for £200,000. Crazy money. :o :o :o

The DB5 is worth even more, probably because of it's connection with James Bond.

Might be worth keeping your eye on it then or even register as a bidder, only thing I'm not keen on is the colour it would have to be either silver or red for me, but a lovely vehicle indeed, certainly had some big money spent on it.

There is a 12% plus VAT buyers premium so, for example, a £15000 hammer price would come in at £17160...  I think. :-X

That's what you'd pay a newish little runaround like I've got at the moment, so in comparison the V12 Aston is pretty good value for smiles per mile..👍

My brother has taken over its restoration some time  ago he'd always wanted one, but now he's in the process of trying to move house as well so the financial side is a bit shaky at the moment, he's asked if I wanted it back but I really couldn't cope with it at the moment , could end up at Matthewsons for someone else to complete.

Ah right.  :y  It reminded me to ask when I saw one today waiting at a junction.  :y

I haven't seen one on the road for ages saw one at my Grandsons prom night a few months back & it looked really quite small parked next to a Porsche saloon which is one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen, Bangers & cash sold a couple a few months back for good money, that's what my advice to him was , looking back I should have just kept it as was & perhaps just had a good detail on it. Don't think I'll go down the classic route again.

Keep you eyes open for an early seventies MK 1 Escort Mexico.

The owner may be unaware what they can be worth. >:D

My wife commented how small it looked (I hope she was talking about the Granada and not me).  ;D  This one was a two tone silver and blue. I was never a massive fan of the two tone model, but I did like the Granada itself.  :y

The ugly thing was probably a Panamera or Taycan.  :y
