Now I'm not against the idea of banning face coverings during protests, and those breaking the law need to be identified and prosecuted, but it has to be applied fairly.

So will the Palestinian protests get the same restrictions?  Will that prevent women how follow strict Islamic doctrine from protesting (though that doctrine would prevent them anyway, but don't let religion get in the way of such things).
