I think that this would suit you Mick!  :y

Just right for caravanning in the apocalypse!  8)   ;D
A 15 year old car, with 4,800 miles on it, for £55,000? Bargain.
The five previous owners must have been Prime Ministers.

There you go, fixed that for you Uncle STEMO.  ::)   :)

I’d tend to agree, the damn things bullet proof.  :o :o
.

I think that's the same one I saw a few weeks ago on a car auction on YouTube,  there was a walk around video & the reserve wasn't anywhere near that amount. Good luck to anyone daft enough to pay that for it.

On second thoughts, with all that extra weight it would probably sink up the axles the moment you took it off piste, so not much good for apocalyptic caravanning really!  ::)  ;D
.

If it is the same one it had special door hinges to deal with the extra weight lots of other special  features, he interesting to see if they manage to shift it.

Other than the halfords exhaust tips, that's extremely smart!  :y
The genuine AMG ones that it came with would easily sort that :y

Cheap car , spend a bit on it to bring it up to scratch could be a good buy 👍

While the exhaust tips are being corrected, get this thrown on it...

Just needs the foam insert, some easy programming and possibly a rear body module*. Takes a couple of hours to retrofit the whole tow kit. Programming is straightforward with the correct tools. Even the rear bumper is marked underneath for where it needs to be trimmed.

* 2 things with the rear module... First it's a common failure point as previously mentioned, so will need checking as part of a proper PDI. Second, if the car wasn't specced with tow preparation, it may not have the relay pins for trailer power, it will work the lights, but you're going to need the 12V for charging purposes on the burger van. So the replacement SAM is both preventative and purposeful.

By using a genuine towbar and wiring, it will be plug and play and therefore be a better job than hacking into the wiring like most towbar fitters do.

You'd have to change your name and 'Mercie' doesn't have quite the same ring to it!  :-\

I suppose we could call you 'Benzie' though?  ;D
