First car

This has probably been covered before, but what was your first car? In 1986 I had a 1979 Triumph Dolomite 1850HL with overdrive and Sprint alloys in Brooklands green. Was so proud of that car at the time. ;)

One like this; a blue / black roofed 1960 Mk1 Farina bodied A40, 1721JW, which cost me £15 was rusted to bits, but gave me back £15 when I sold the number plate:

Loved this cute car to bits as well! :-* :-* :-* :y

First car I had was a 1939 Ford Anglia sit up & beg went halves with a mate  cost us £25. The first car I owned outright was a 1951 Sunbeam Talbot 80 with a Hillman 4cyl engine  4 speed gearbox and Bendix cable brakes, great brakes going forwards not worth a f@rt going backwards. I bought it from the boss of the garage I worked at for £25 in 1961, had 2 years motoring out of it till the engine let go.
