thread hijacking?
« on: 25 September 2008, 22:04:48 »

i notice alot of people coming onto a thread apologiseing for the above. I dont really understand why, as its always on the same subject and always relevant and of interest. It does not bother me in the slightest if someone asks another question along side my query or they discuss argue the point, what ever that may be.
Question is do other people feel the same and are there any unwritten rules or guide lines on the subject? Cheers.

I have been reading up on O.C. Nock's calculation on the performance effeciency on British steam railway locomotives during the early part of the twentieth century.........oh, sorry I'm doing it again! ;D ;D ;D ;D

No, seriously  Chris, I find it very interesting when a member takes a thread in a new direction after the initial points have been thoroughly exhausted.  Too much of a tangent into completely unrelated topics is probably a liitle impolite, but we have all done it! :-[ :-[ :-[

Our threads often remain extremely interesting because of all the diversity of topic matter in my opinion. :y :y :y :y :y

Seems to happen a lot and even the Admins can be guilty ::) answere sometimes open up further debate and so on, I have no problem with this, guesss it could be annoying if you asked a specific question and wanted a quck answere. There again I think most oofers would recognise this and not hijack. imho :y

On that subject, are there any reasonably normal countries that UK citizens can not go to?  So far I know that I can't go to Cuba or Dubai.

Hijack time.

Have had a rough few days, lots supposer to be happening but nothing actully is

Am feeling stressed in a wierd sort of way and havent really slept since Friday night. (just cat napped in my arm chair.)  Had the Nurse out and blood pressure is spot on, face started feeling hot today, so am wondering with one thing and another with the odd cold spell if I am coming down with something.  Joints are feeling a bit sore and strength seems to be sapped a little.

So might spend the day in bed and try sleep it off if poss.

So am just programming the TV to see whats on offer and off to bed.

Maybe catch you all tomorrow if not than will be over the week end.

And get some jokes and funnies sorted out to keep me laughing

Am off to bed.   [smiley=beer.gif] [smiley=happy.gif] Night all
