Yes Dusty that can certainly be the case, especially in my experience with those darn people Kwik Fitup, and you have to hold your ground making it clear you are taking no nonense.

First, just stay well clear of them as they are guaranteed to damage your car eventually, as I suspect they have done already with that sump bolt..........£28 indeed.........to put right what they have done wrong rather robbing, ineffecience, useless people!!

Yes wonderful idea Dusty, but the poor souls would then feel quite lost not being able to show us women "how it is done", ie showing off, and "enjoying" the fantasies we create for them!

I'll bet a left gonad that you didn't buy 20 GM cartridge type filters for around £20. Never in a month of Sundays.  TC price is around £4 + VAT each, so at best, 20 will be £60-£70...

...and added to that, seeing as you only have 1 car that takes cartridge type filters, you wouldn't buy that many anyway.

Looking from the front it was on the right hand side of the engine. (I know you know but I had not seen before.)

Yup, small cylinder of paper.  Paper element fiilters were standard from around 1999 on v6 Omegas.
