DVD arrived today (very quick delivery) and I watched it earlier, I must say it has made me feel a lot more confident about tackling the job myself.
Good quality and actually more comprehensive than I imagined it would be.
One question I do have after watching the DVD is why do you have to turn the engine through one complete resolution after tensioning the belt and then slackening off the tensioner completely before retensioning again?
Can't wait for further tutorials from Craig especially now that he owns a camera that would make Sky News jeoulous.
A complete success  :y   A must have for all 4 pot owners who have never changed their cambelt themselves.  [smiley=dankk2.gif]

James is the man to ask about why he did what he did in the video there will be a good reason for it but i dont know why :)

Just to let the people know sorry i never got the chance to send the dvd's out yesterday as i got called into surgery to film all day and never got the chance to buy stamps or the padded envelopes all 4 DVD's will be in the post today chaps

James, would you care to comment on the engine rotation?



When you turn the engine around one rotation for the first time by hand, you'll find that the camshafts are under valve spring pressure, and everything will "settle" after the first turn.

The tensioner position will therefore never be spot on after the first rotation, and needs to be reset :)

Got the DVD ages ago but only just decided to watch it, after id already done the job  ::). Glad to say I did it exactly the way the DVD says so quite chuffed and happy to know I was correct  ;)
