I do, (when I'm in posession of my disk!!), but I'm not ashamed of saying I'm fairly hopeless at it!!

Awesome game though!!

The Super Mario Bros series from NES, and Super Mario World from SNES were great, instantly playable games.

The majority of games now have lost that sort of appeal, and I haven't the patience for them.

Take Doom - the originals were fantastic, and still miles more playable, better atmosphere etc etc than Doom 3 or Quake 4.  OK, graphically dated, but gameplay is so much better now.  Quake 4 on xbox360 isn't a game you can pick up for 20mins and get somewhere, hence I have no interest in it...

I waited for ages for Quake to be released - I was a bit good at Doom, even if I do say so myself. Yet Quake, for me, was the start of the downfall of this genre of game.  A far more advanced game engine than the original Doom/Doom II, yet it seemed to lose more in gameplay than it gained...
