Looks good. I'd like it, but what is a reasonable "offer"?

Trouble is, no matter what you think, a 10yr old CRT is knackered. The tube will have partial vac loss, and the phosphur will be tired. No exceptions.

To be honest, it has very low value.  Brand new 32" CRTs at tescos for £200 will be better due to newer tube, and with crappy LCDs that size from around £300 (which will still be better picture than your CRT), so I think cem has right answer - let the kids have it in their room with the gayStation 3 :)

Turn up the A1 a bit? All the way to Biggleswade?

WTF are you talking about and if this were done how? And why would it shorten the life?

Not even 9 years old!

And the picture is somehow or other still good, watching it now and all looks fine.

PS3 does bluray and I want to watch them properly!

I think he means brightness, anyway it is a basic telly done well. Except that 32" widescreen and flat tube is not basic and at the time IDTV was definately not.

But it is not full of electronic tweaking which means what they broadcast is what you see.
