My old man , who's 84 and drives with an eggshell under his right foot , gets 37mpg on the computer in his BMW 328i.

I owned it for 6 months before him and I got 23mpg.

Just goes to show driving style can make a huge difference !

Mind you , you wouldn't wanna be behind him on a twisty country lane.
