Have just paid for 12 months car tax online....£210 for the 2.6.
I thought it best to pay for 12 months as the new rates apply from March 2009.(I think).....paying for only 6 months today could prove very expensive come March.

TheDVLA form shows the car as 257G/KM....just,I think ...in the highest band.

There are sure going to be some great Omega bargains come March 2009....I will be ready take advantage of this opportunity.

Yep.. Every 2.6 bar a manual saloon is in the top bracket, IIRC.

Kevin...mine is a 2.6 manual saloon......are the DVLA pulling a fast one ...or is it possible they think it is an auto.
If the 2.6 manual falls into a lower tax band...I would like to know.
