Good boots or not??
« on: 25 November 2008, 15:04:38 »

http://www.motorcycle-clothing.co.uk/proddetail.php?prod=DA-Q&cat=67

Just got these... well, ordered...  In the largest size they have listed...

If I wanted Sidi (upto 50 only though), the wait will be till around February  :-/  These are 'in stock' so should be here Thursday/Friday all going well...

From what I hear, Daytona's are good make, hence the choice :)

You're off the chart!! You should've come to clicky or Winfileds with us the other day, they had a couple of pairs of mens shoes in size 17!!  :o They were only £10 too

Not that far, only UK 16 :)

I normally go to a place called George's on Handbridge in Chester, its where I got the last few pairs of trainers from :) Although my Allstars *are* direct from Florida which is nice :)

Just had a call, the 51's will be here tomorrow for me to pick up  :y

Well that was a waste of time...

Got the boots today, got home...

Woooo my foot actually fits inside (bit tight, but they should bed in better)

Try fasten up the sides...  And back to the shop!

They just would *not* fasten around the calf of my leg, no matter how much I pulled...  Even the bloke in the shop said there is no way the leather will bed in & give enough for it to fasten :(

So they are gona ring Daytona direct tomorrow and see if they can either

a) Modify the shaft on the boot to fit my calf
b) Make a custom pair of boots which will fit.

Need size 51EU boot with a 49.5cm calf...  Chances are pretty much slim to none unless Daytona can sort me out...  And no doubt if it ends up being option B, they will cost far more than the original £299.99 I just paid today...

I'd probably still have the same issue with those, plus they won't be as protective  ;D
