What are you reading at the moment?
« on: 03 December 2008, 15:19:08 »

I spend a lot of time on the train, taken up reading. Makes the time go faster.

Just read Richard Brandsons autobiography, that was damn good,

Now i am in Rowland White's - Vulcan 607, its about the time we sent a single Vulcan to the Falklands War in 1982 - very good so far  :y

I like fantasy type stuff -- Earthsea Trilogy sort of thing as well as Dan Browne and books of that ilk. Also into family history stuff -- Cornish History mainly.

Tend only to read on holidays when I will get through 3 or 4 books in succession. Last book I read was The Last Templar by Raymond Khoury.  I have Colditz by P.R Reid lined up (relates to the family history, as a cousin was held there )

I have a LOT of eBooks on the laptop since I have a near-as 2 hour commute each way at the moment. Currently got some early release David Weber books (Sci-Fi) so am going through the whole series (Honor Harrington).

Little Dorrit, believe it or not.

Been watching the TV adaptation, and I didn't remember any of the story.  Not surprising - it's very different.

Is that purely fictional or based on fact (as far as we know) ?

Based on fact but fictional characters.
I have The Last Templar in my collection a really good book. If you enjoyed that I would recommend Robyn Youngs books http://www.robynyoung.com/
also Bernard Cornwells "Grail Quest" novels, which is also based on fact, yet these stories main character is an English Archer. My second all time books the Grail Quests

George R R Martin's "Song of Ice and Fire" are the Best books ever in my honest opinion.
