Now i am in Rowland White's - Vulcan 607, its about the time we sent a single Vulcan to the Falklands War in 1982 - very good so far  :y

Superb book - finished it a few weeks ago.

Currently reading Jimmy Nail's autobiography, the Monty Pythons Autobiography (a bit heavy going), and the Prince2 Manual (very heavy going!)

I buy lots of cheap books.

Given up on three of them - hard work, currently reading a Palin travelogue around Europe

For the Falklands fans - Sea Harrier Over The Falklands is a good read too.

Its the bit leading up to is is very interesting, all about the War Games in the late 70's when we sent the Vulcans, and the Americans preferred our more capable huge Delta design, and the lumbing B52's are you typical American.  Bloody huge and can't turn corners.

Also good reading the way it built up, they wanted to do a sneaky invasion but were forced by their own idiots into a full scale invasion.

Only 40 pages in so far, but very good  :)

While I was there, I came across this of a Lightning takeoff http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=D-9ETUguNMQ&feature=related Thats impressive. Can any other modern plane do that ?.
