this for the 2.5??

I agree with Martin, the charger would be a simpler approach :)

You'd need to sort the cooling out, also an external oil cooler with thermal switching plate (so keeping the old oilcooler aswell) would help...

Piggy back the current ECU with a GoTech or something similiar...

I did some contract work at the Garrett factory in Skelmersdale many moons ago there were bins full of "blowers" all over. the ones they made for trucks were huge.

Garrett!!  Did someone mention Garrett?! :o :o

This is a Garrett I would love and recognise:

This is a Australian version, but like the South African and Indian versions, they were great engines in the main :-* :-*.

They were experimented with by two British railway companies.  The Beyer Garrett  4 cylinder 2-6-0 + 0-6-2 LMS ones of 1927 were not so good, suffering from poor design features like inadequate axle and bearing surfaces and short travel valves. :'( :'(

1925 Gresley / Beyer Garratt LNER 6 cylinder 2-8-0 + 0-8-2 version was better, but had too large a great area for the one fireman used.  ::)
