Top Gear
« on: 30 December 2008, 13:19:23 »

It has been announced today that due to the need for cut backs at the BBC Top Gear will be trimmed back. :(

There will apparently be far less expensive stunts and exotic trips abroad. :(

Well if that avoids the likes of the bike ride through Vietnam with a greater emphasis on motor cars that possibly we may own, and their workings, then so be it. 8-) 8-)

Hope they keep all three presenters though, especially James May!! :-* :-* :-*

Why would a tv company want to spend cash to make a quality program when they can recruit a pile of has been/never gonna be celebs or a bunch of media whores, stick em in an enclosed situation, film the results and get huge ratings from the brain dead who can't get enough of trash tv?
Hence the drivvel we're subjected to these days. >:( >:(

They work so well together Lizzie.

They are the modern day equivalent of John Noakes ,Peter Purves and Valerie Singleton in the great Blue Peter days.

I can't say that I find any of the three attractive though.

Perhaps the powers that be at the BBC could replace jeremy Clarkson with Richard Gere. ;D :-* :-* :-*

how about getting rid of Wossy (Ross) that would save £18 million

then binning idiot factor and come prnacing, get rid of the prima donna presenters, that would save a few quid.
