slightly sticky butterfly?
« on: 30 December 2008, 19:17:13 »

Couple of times in this cold snap, when engine is uber cold, driving down road, come to a stop at a T Junction, the revs stay high, around 1,300 rpm, blip the throttle couple of times usually clears and goes back to 900 which is normal for cold.

Am i right in thinking the butterfly on the throttle body is maybe sticking a bit? been about 2 years since it was cleaned.

i know what the choke is!

No its higher than that, if its just started from cold highest it ever goes is 1,100 or so.

It feels very much like the throttle just gets stuck!
