Doh! how did you get it to the MOT centre, on the back of a truck?

why i drove it of course

TBH most of the fail points were minor things, corroded TRE split pin missing, new seat belt, new brake pedal rubber, new headlights etc.

two biggies were siezied brake caliper, so changed both + pads, and new steering box.

i don't think they'd sell many new ones if they looked like that,    then again i didn't think any one would buy a Woolworth's receipt either

thats meant to be the cage that holds the roller bearings.

as it happens the roller bearings were more like ball bearings, about 1/3rd of the proper size
