Might be due a clean out then, they tend to accumulate quite a lot of dust and get hot inside.

you can get hold of laptop coolers
ive got 1 for my laptop
3 fans powered by usb and cool the laptop right down
ive had my cooler now for about 2 years and had no problems
might be worth a try for how cheap they are :y

Dont let him fob you off...had a ringing sensation couple of years back, thought nothing of it as doctor said dont worry it will pass.

Woke up at work one evening and had completely lost all hearing in right ear....various tests later and they have no idea what caused it or how too fix it.

Don't take your hearing for granted.... :y
