I keep coming across Tech2 all over the forum as if I should know what Tech2 is.... So pardon my ignorance, but what the heck is it?

Its a handheld diag computer which can diagnose, setup and re-programme all the mojor computers on your car.

Given your location your lucky, The Boy on here has one and his rates are very reasonable plus hes pretty close to you.

Thanks Mark, I knew it had to be something simple! :)

Just as a matter of interest, and for future reference where is The Boy located?

Actually he's not that close to me, over 200 miles south to be exact! That makes it an expensive visit! ;)

Is there anyone similar in the north east of England near Middlesbrough?

Thanks Craig..... Did you have your Omega when you lived up here? Maybe you could recommend some places for servicing etc etc?

Since I've had a mobility lease hire vehicle for the past 15 years I've lost all touch with whose good and who isn't when you have to pay for the work to be done!

The Best Garage in the World Up there is a Garage called Acorn its in linthorpe village i cant fully remember the address but ill find out for you the guy who runs the place is called Mal or Malcom

He is always busy as he is the best about so you need to be prepared for a little wait to get in.

Ill phone my mate who is in Middlesbrough tonight and get the full address.

I think he is that good and i trust him and his prices are great if i need anything doing i drive back to have work do there sometimes.
