I'm not saying that I approve, but I have seen far worse.  I don't think it's actually that bad as tarted out cars go.  He's dreaming on the price.

It's always a 4cyl auto they do that to  ::)

Because they're chavs, and can't afford to run/insure V6 models...

And they don't have the brains (or driving ability) to get a manual 2.0. Quite why VX ever made an Omega 2.0 with a slushbox is beyond me... I guess it's for the same reasons they never released the V8 Omega, most of the market in Europe loves slow slow slow ::)

With all the extra weight that dude's bolted on I'm suprised that thing can get rolling at all!

The 2.0 / 2.2 autos are perfectly respectable. They get you from A to B and they will happily sit @ 80 mph all day long.... and return decent mpg

Comming back to Uni with the cruise set @ 80 the mid instant comp read between 36 - 39 mpg on a flat section of the M40. (2 people in car, full boot)

The 4 pots just do the job, don't expect to race anyone or have loads of power available. It has enough for overtakes, i have done many from 3rd gear 40mph up to 90.... it gets there just takes a little time.

However they do no deserve those mods they just aint that fast....

I asked the seller the question if he had the cambelt and idlers changed. He has just responded no. So if it was done at the last recorded service of 99,000 miles, and it is now reading 157,000 miles...........the clock is ticking :-? :-? :-?

I had an Auto 2.0 Omega GLS before getting my V6, and gotta be honest I really liked it. Never at any time did I feel it was slow, I thought it was pretty nippy actually.

Yours is a manual Tunnie - the clue is the 3rd silly pedal, and that silly stick in middle....

Do you drive your dad's 2.2 auto much?
