New Freeview Channel
« on: 24 February 2009, 17:59:57 »

For those in the UK with Freeview via DVB, if you have been waiting on a channel that`s half decent, it looks like it will finally arrive on 14th May, its from the people behind Discovery channel.

Go to...
http://www.questtv.co.uk

For a preview of content that the channel will be showing.

It looks as though initially it will be showing Discovery channel sourced repeats of everyone`s faves like Mythbusters, American Chopper, Axe Men and many others.

Lets hope it also has some unique programmes of its own and isn`t a stupid 'two hours a day only' channel

Quality post Debs. Thanks.  :y

Channel 47 apparently. Currently on UKTV Style on my setup.

Price-drop TV leaves Freeview too. Woo hoo!

If we get an informative & interesting channel akin to Discovery in place of a mindnumbing shopping channel that's no bad thing by any means.
