Personally, I should not wish to see the beauty of Chaucer, Milton and Shakespeare`s (and indeed, the Queen`s) English, replaced by the scant-brevity of MSN and 'Nokia-speak'.

For better or worse, I write here, as I think and speak.....and, as a woman of 'ever maturing years'; I think that trying to change my style of speech and syntax in an effort to "slack out FFS", might indeed expose me to yet further ridicule.

You remain a peerless wordsmith Debs.  

My original post was intended to be a light hearted poke at an unslacked out Debs. May she forever remain so.
I have reread it and see that some people could see it as hostile or aggressive. This was not what I intended and I apologise to those people.
