In my limited experience, I cannot see anyone "not being charged" purely on the basis it will cause racial hatred.

Did the plod specifically say they would not investigate your complaint because it would cause racial hatred?

my x did go round his house to see his mum, she gave my x a load of abuse, rang her ex husband who came round, my x showed him the pics of what he did and the police report and he went mad, she said he was punching his son in the head walking up the rd. he never went near my son again. he cant play out over there so comes here all the time and has better m8s now who have parents who DO give a shite what there kids get up to.

honestly james, that was what we was told, yeading borders on southall and theres gangs on both sides of the fence. black and white. last yr (cant decide if I mean year or your) i know of a kid who got mugged and his dad found them, both got beaten half to death. no charges were brought. they just probably moved to another area to mug someone else

If I had made a complaint to the Police about someone assulting me / family, and they told me they wouldn't do anything because of the suspected offenders race, I would be truly amazed. I'm not disputing what you say - I am just - stunned.

If an offender is identified for assult, and such injuries as the pics above are present - they should be charged and put before a court!

Thing is, the father who dealt the beating is just as bad as his son. When they get this from the parents, it's no wonder they display violence/aggression in their own daily life...  :-/

Richie, I can completely understand your feelings and having dealt with the police in that area I know that they are terrified of causing "Racial Unrest"

The recent stories you have been telling us are terrifying and a sure sign that your area is suffering from "over PCness" and deserves better!

Apologies, misunderstood your post.

I had a problem with someone harrassing me. To the point of hundreds of pounds worth of damage, car tyres slashed, death threats ( i recorded these on my phone recorder). Several officers told me not to worry and they would have 'word' with him, none of them did.
Eventually found an officer that could be bothered to do something and it went to magistrates court.
CPS decided it wasn't likely to end in a procecution as there was a lack of evidence!!! I had voice recordings of him making death threats FFS!

Anyway, post that, he was still causing bother. My only option was to take out some sort of restraining order (via private solicitor) on the guy which would if I remember rightly cost several hundred pounds.

Absolute waste of time.

As far as breaking the 'law' goes, I wouldn't even have to think about it. The 'Law' is responsible for some absolulely attrocious things in this country, more often than not, supporting the offender.

I have a very strong moral compass, I live by that. It's quite clear to me the difference between right and wrong. I've broken a 30mph limit, I've swore in public, I've even driven without my seatbelt on!! The 'Law' would make me a criminal whilst it lets rapists paedophiles and murderers walk free. I simply can't live by something as ridiculous as that.

don't know if its anything to do with last night but two people from across the road and one from round the back have just been arrested

only caught bits of what the copper said but it was on the lines of drugs and breaking an entry

fraid so as its my property i'm liable for everything that goes on fault of mine or not

i know someone who got down when a burglar broke into this old womans house and cut his arm open on the broken window and she got done for it

Look at what happened to Barrymore......he may well not have done anything wrong at all but bcos it was on his property he was dragged through court for it...........
