All this has set me wondering what happened to my first (and only) machine.
'Twas a modest, but mint Honda CB175.
However the pleasures of the flesh, reclining seats and four wheels changed all that - hmmmmm!

I bought a honda cb125 twin!!! ha ha ha forever breaking down it was i finnally got fed of it and chucked it in for suzuki b120.....cracking old classic felt like a G.P.  bike after riding a smokey old 4stroke.... ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Mate of mine used to have an (also smokey) one of those. I could just about keep up with him... in my Mum's Volvo 340 1.4.  :o

Kevin

I remember when they were fast and owners wondered why a 100cc Suzuki beat them at the TLGPs ;D

Had a Blackbird, a tuned one. Didn't half shift. 161hp at the wheel!

Cracking tourer but if you like to push the boundaries it has it's limitations. The fairing lower will grind out if you chuck it into a corner hard. A bigger problem is the linked brakes. The rear will lift and subsequently lock, if you're on hard, not usually a problem if you let it trail the spinning front but as both are on but pretty disconcerting nonetheless. Saying that, you need to be hard on from 150+, i've only had the problem on trackdays.

Mine before

And after :'(

Believe it or not I walked away from that one!

Own this

Hoping that I can make enough money from selling that and the estate to buy a bigger bike when I finally get my DAS course out of the way :)  No idea what to get yet, just want something comfortable, so a tourer or something!

I have a tricked up VTR1000. Great bike only problem is that it eats rear tyres and gets me noticed too often. ;D

TBH, calling any biker a Goldwing rider (other than a Goldwing rider) is an insult.

Suzuki X7
Honda CBR400F
Suzuki Bandit 600
Suzuki Bandit 1200
Yamaha YZF1000 Thunderace

I love the look of those!

I was in a dealer a while back when it was newly out, and they were making one road legal again (lights/indicators) after a young lad in the dealers tried to play dominoes with it! :o  :y
