what tuning is available for the late 3.2??
« on: 19 January 2007, 01:33:48 »

Recall that the (M-Tek?) chipping opportunities for the 3.2 are much less than the 3.0 .  Anyone confirm?

What options (without breaking the bank) are there for the later facelifts?

At this time that is the case. I know that Mike was looking to see if anyone was developing an improved map for the 3.2

Tuning?

Well it is a hardened steel crank so can cetainly take a lot more.
I would look at the exhaust manifolds (sorry Kostas). I just think there is too much restriction there.

An FPR won't do any harm. Won't increase power but will improve delivery.

Other main thought would be a supercharger! :D

The ECU is flashable.  Downside of this is that it is harder for the mapper to protect their IP.  I haven't seen any 3rd party firmwares/maps yet...

I also believe that the manifolds are to small for the capacity of the engine and you would probably be better off with a proper set of tubular manifolds. Like the ones in my 3.2 beast.

Re the manifolds.  Were they on the car when purchased or did you fit them?  If the latter, what kind of cost and who/what make?  Any info gratefully received.

Like it, you have a choice of languages on the site. German...or....German!

I was useless at German...and still am!

However, they have some interesting kit on there.

Weird airbox setup, oh and some rather agressive 284° Cams!  :o

Yes it is a very diverse website when it comes to languages.
Fächerkrümmer means exhaust manifold.

Most manifolds only fit LHD cars.
