Yes, it is a 1 year old 1.9 CDTi 150bhp (16V unlike the 120 which is 8V) manual Elite mum wagon (Zafira)

Good luck, be prepared for knackerd EGR valves, injectors failing and the car cutting out at all sorts of speeds, poor low down grunt and chocolate gearboxes, that applies to both manual and auto!!

If you chip it the gearbox will last about 45 mins longer than AR25 in a chipped 2.5 TD

Carrying on the great Vauxhall heritage then. :y ::) ;D

Lol.

There are a few known issues.

EGR valve clogging - common across all cars and easily sorted. Worse on short trips.

Particulate filter cloggng - Again, common on all diesels and clogs due to town driving (they have to get hot to self clean)

Dual Mass Fly Wheel - An issue which seems to blight every manufacturer sadly but, a much uprated one was fitted as per late 2007 which so far has seen no failures.

Gearbox - Some very rare issues which occur due to DMF failures. This is a very strong box in reality and used by many manufacturers (Getrag I seem to recall).

Engine seems pretty bullet proof, never heard of any injectors failing or major issues and cant fnd any real evidence of them ether (via the fleet reports or via my local friendly dealer)

1.9CDTi engine, same as fitted to Vectras? I know of 2 that had multiple engine related issues, unsure what, as being company car, they just went straight to a garage to fix. Lack of power and dropping to idle (had that last one on a Rover - software issue, but different ecu).  Could well be the fleet servicing routine, or the fact 1 of these Vectra's in particular rarely did more than 3 or 4 miles at a time.
