;) When can we have a go in your boat?.....`got some lovely lakes near here. :y

As soon as I finish the seats above the water tight battery compartments (electric motor  :y) and finish the sails off I'll be up there in a jiffy.  Are there any launching fees on bala?

Not sure about Bala lake but will enquire.....Llyn Brenig is closer and really lovely.

glad you seem well happy about it. hope the coming home brings you happiness in your new home mate. so what does this mean for the future for you now ??

I am upset to leave germany actually, I never thought I would like this place so much.  We could learn a lot from them as they have so much just so right.  That said I am moving from a junior captain's job to a more senior one and I need a fresh start (some things are better said in person around a bottle of wine than on here :y) and the job is a goodun as I will be in charge of the comms for an entire medical regiment  :y

I still have a few more years until I get my first look at major so I ave to keep plugging away  :y

no chance of popping to york then :y

Fraid not but I am bringing this glorious German weather with me.... anyone want any beer or schnapps bringing over?  ::) ::)

ooooooo beer sounds good
any vodka :y

3 or 4 crates are coming back for my personal supply which will have to be replenished on a regular basis with frequent trips abroad  :y

if there is room I will offer up the remaining space - get your orders in!  ;D ;D ;D

It sounds like you got plenty space for beer. Just turn the boat right way up, and fill her up. Remember the bung in a boat has 2 uses, one to stop the water getting in, and two to stop the beer running out  :y

Plus on the long journey back, just run a pipe from the boat down to the drivers seat  :y :y  Only trouble is if you get stopped by the police and they ask you how much you had to drink, and you say " about 3cm", they ain't goin to believe you  ;D ;D ;D

Welcome back to Blighty -- you'll see what a mess we are in when you get here !!!!!  And don't think you will feel at home listening to your mother tongue spoken in the streets -- every one speaks Polish these days   :D :D :D

Not putting you off am I ????  Hope not  :y

Thanks for all the support, I doubt I am going to like it too much, I am a staunch patriot but there is something that labour has done that just makes me hate living in the UK.  12 more years and I retire to Hawaii  :y
